“FORGING A DREAM”, THE SECOND EPISODE OF “THE ARTISANS OF GAUDÍ”

This Tuesday, September 29, at 9:35 p.m., betevé broadcasts the second episode of the documentary series, focusing on the relationship between Antoni Gaudí and Eusebi Güell and the role of artisans in some of the architect’s most emblematic works.

After exploring the origins of Antoni Gaudí’s creative vision in the first episode, The Artisans of Gaudí continues its journey with “Forging a Dream”, the second episode of the series.

The episode focuses on the meeting between Gaudí and Eusebi Güell, a relationship that led to some of the architect’s most important projects. Palau Güell and Park Güell provide the setting for an episode that explores the convergence of architecture, patronage and craftsmanship.

Ironworking techniques, traditionally worked stone and trencadís mosaics reveal an approach to architecture in which artisans played an essential role. Through the professionals who continue to work on and restore these spaces today, the series connects that creative period with the present.

“Forging a Dream” continues The Artisans of Gaudí’s journey, exploring not only the architect’s works, but also the people and crafts that made them possible.
